(this is something i wrote for my biographical sketch for school -- That Wallflower xx)
"Go on and try to tear me down, I will be rising from the ground, like a SKYSCRAPER." - Demi Lovato
Songs can easily tell someone's story. Melodies are the emotions crafted by time and honed by circumstances. Every line serves as the diary of our experiences and voice gives life to all journeys of our soul.
17th of May, year 1994. Martina Arevalo Pasahol gave birth to a baby girl. She and her husband, Zosimo, named their baby Jenny, short and sweet, the 2nd and the only girl of their three children.
She was raised the very normal way. They might not be privileged with the wealth of the world but they were rich with love and values.
Time flew... really quickly. But the girl in this story still wasn't aware that she is bound to write her own fairytale. Fairytales are not always how a love story gets their happy endings. She believes that a true fairytale is how you'd live your life and reach for your dreams, pretty simple.
"She was young but non-existing, she was gifted but yet unaware."
She's the only rose among the thorns... or the other way around. She lived her life around people who she knew would never let her down, but that's just basically her family and small circle of friends. Eventually, she learned that the world isn't as simple as she taught it was. It contains millions of people with different personalities and various likes and dislikes. it was always a hard time for her to find her jive and the only space left were the tiny little space where the so-so's exist where she found happiness with people who never pretend to care.
There's more to life than what meets the eye.
She was such a quiet girl at grade school but even if she was the most silent girl you could ever met, she never had a problem with finding someone to get close with. Less cheerful at first sight but friendly enough to get along and when you got to know her better, you'd be surprised of how she could be talkative at times. She never been an honor student despite of doing well in academics, maybe because she was never active on school activities and recitations and would rather stay at the corner and just let others do their thing to avoid competition. She's a person who'd never do something all out or she was simply not used of being at her best. There was always something holding her back and she's quite aware of it.
Writing had always been her passion and music is her life. She is quite an artist on her own rights. She does a lot of weird stuff since her young years. She draws and paints. She reads a lot. She writes mostly everything and sings her throat to the edge. She composes songs of all sorts and listens to all kinds of music. She watches t.v. obsessively and a big movie enthusiast. She even dreamed of being a designer and did some sketching as she grew up, fashion or interior, either way will do. She's a huge fangirl of tons of singers, musicians, artists, actors and celebrities. She is basically an obvious day dreamer and escapist of reality. The normal stuff? That's the she saw it at first and how it appears to be but as she grew older, she felt creepy of how her norms turned weird because of how often and how hard she does it and then just kept everything to herself. She never tried of showing it off to the world because she always thought that no one would believe that she can possibly make it. She does not even thinks she's good enough and doubts and nerves always get the best of her. Then I guess that is why she rather wants to be a wallflower that silently fits in than be someone who always try to steal the show.
There are more things she wanted to do and explore. Most of those were her inner frustrations, fancies and callings and there are obviously many to mention. She is now in her quest of finding the best way to crack out of her shell. She always wanted to bloom and loosen up but there were lots of hindrances that were not even visible to her sight. And now she’s bound to conquer the real world with her gifts given by God.
